Who I am and What I do
Hi! My name is Dawn Beaster. I'm a career coach, educator, trainer, and passionate believer that everyone deserves to build a future they feel excited about. I founded Dawn Career Coaching because I've seen firsthand what happens when people discover work that aligns with their strengths, values, and passions. My mission is simple: to help people find their path, live their passion, and realize their joy.
Helping people discover their potential has always been at the heart of everything I do. My career began in education, where I spent more than 20 years as a high school educator specializing in business and marketing. Along the way, I also gained valuable experience in the corporate world through recruiting, training, and professional development. While each role was different, they all revealed the same thing: my greatest passion is helping people grow.
Over the years, I discovered something else about myself - I love connecting people with opportunities. Whether it's helping a high school student explore college and career options, preparing a college graduate for the workforce, or guiding someone through a career transition, I enjoy helping people see possibilities they may not have recognized on their own. Those experiences showed me that many people make important education and career decisions without taking the time to truly understand themselves first. The result can be unnecessary stress, costly detours, and missed opportunities. That's why I do what I do. I help people slow down, ask the right questions, discover their strengths, and intentionally design a future that fits who they are. Career exploration doesn't have to be overwhelming, it can actually be one of the most exciting and empowering journeys you'll ever take.
Today, I combine my experience as an educator, recruiter, trainer, and career coach to help teens, college students, young professionals, and career changers gain clarity, build confidence, and create meaningful career paths. My coaching is encouraging, practical, and action-oriented because I believe every person deserves to find work that is both fulfilling and aligned with who they are. I'm an energetic, optimistic coach who believes that your future is full of possibilities. My goal is to inspire, encourage, and equip you with the tools and confidence to pursue a career and a life that brings you purpose and joy.
